PROJECT VISITING SCHOLAR

Academic conferences are expensive and exclusionary. Maybe we can’t make conferences cheaper, but we can enable each other to attend them.

In 2018, I started this database project to enable students and low income scholars to attend conferences by staying with other academics. The project grew into a resource that helps academic conference organizers make their conference more inclusive and accessible. At the moment, I am working on the legal aspects of  this project.
